Now open in Troy!

Timber & Bow Play Studio started as a vision shared by two local moms realizing the need for a fun, clean, LOCAL place to bring kiddos during the day. The opportunity to bring that vision to life in the new, revitalized Sherwood area of Troy felt like a dream come true. Timber & Bow Play Studio is designed to allow kids to be kids and adults to socialize, get a little work done, or simply have a place to play away from home!

Our informal play space provides many developmentally appropriate activities geared towards infants, toddlers, and preschoolers age 6 years and younger. With a gentle nod to the “Sherwood Forest” of Robin Hood, our space offers a modern take on nature-themed play. From our large wooden playset to our quaint playhouse and garden shed, and all the gross-motor, fine motor, and imaginative play in between, we’ve got something for everyone!

Timber & Bow Play Studio is committed to providing a safe and clean atmosphere for kids and adults alike to come together and have fun. We sincerely look forward to meeting and serving all of the families of our community!

Hi! We’re Autumn and Jessi, the moms behind Timber & Bow Play Studio. Our story starts WAY back in the second grade (though we’re not telling you when that was), and we’ve been best friends ever since. After graduating from Russia (that’s “roo – she”) Local School, we both went on to complete our undergraduate degrees at The Ohio State University. We both LOVED living in Columbus, Ohio, and stayed there through many major milestones such as our first “real” jobs, marriage, and the birth of our oldest kiddos. Since obviously our kids were DESTINED to be best friends, we spent quite a bit of time enjoying play dates at indoor playgrounds and cafes. In

2014, we planned a dinner with our husbands, both a little nervous to share some news with the other…but it turns out, our news was the same!!! With our families expanding, we each (independently, we swear!) decided to move closer to family and our hometown. After relocating to Troy, Ohio, we settled into the same neighborhood and quickly felt right at home! Only one thing was missing…a nearby, clean, safe, indoor environment to take our kids to burn off some energy while we relax and catch up. Upon learning that the Sherwood of Troy shopping center was going to be redeveloped and revived, we couldn’t resist the opportunity to turn our dream into a reality. We sincerely hope that Timber & Bow Play Studio fulfills this need for other families in the community, and that we can be a small part in the development of many more lifelong friendships!
